We are looking for a Marketing Department Intern
CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, is the leading pan-EMEA business and financial television channel. With real-time coverage of financial markets and international business news, CNBC provides business leaders, investors and the financial services industry across EMEA with the information and analysis they need.
Job description:
- Manage sales and marketing databases - Manage the Direct Communication Tool to inform subscribers about upcoming guests and programme highlights
- Coordinate guest mailings
- Assist with requests for information from clients, cable operators and press
- Support to the marketing/sales teams - General support for events including coordination, research, bookings, invitations and follow up
- Translations referring the German Language
- Bookings and support for print and online advertising
Our requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Good communication skills and able to multi-task
- General interest in television, media marketing and financial markets
Location: London, UK
Start date: 30 March 2009, with availability to train two days during the last full week of March
Duration: 6 months
Salary: Unpaid, but monthly travel card is reimbursed. It is possible to refinance the London stay through the Erasmus Scholarship.
