About the role
Working in a friendly office alongside a team of international interns, the successful candidate must be reliable, self-sufficient and proactively minded. You will be working under the guidance and we will provide you with all the training you need. Above all, the role will give you the opportunity to be creative as you explore and experience everything that Barcelona has to offer
Duties and responsibilities
· Blog: Maintain blogs of the company
· Blog Analysis: Analyse in detail articles using specific tool
· SEO: Participate in the optimisation of keywords/articles..
§ Knowledge of how search engines work
§ On Page Optimisation of websites
§ Study and application of Link Building Strategies
§ Formation on Tools for SEO
§ Partners ? Contacting, negotiating and maintaining relations with key partners.
§ Press Release Publishing to promote new events, sites changing, etc.
§ Content creation for Blogs, this involves writing in your own language
§ Marketing support tasks as needed in the department: Doing research studies, analysis, reports, presentation etc.. when needed
· Market studies: Internet research on Competitors, travel trends, accommodation market
· Translations: Translating to your native language
· Online Reputation Searches: Doing specific searches on the web
Projects: Depending on your native language and skills you could be involved in:
o Social Media
o Video Networking: creating videos, editing and posting on web
o Photos Networking: taking photos and posting on networks
o Working on the Corporate blog: research
o Direct Marketing
· And various other ad hoc tasks
Anforderungen
Requirements:
- Must be a student as we need to sign a contract with a University or school
- Like writing short articles, it could be of any style. The writing is done in the native language
- Like communicating
o The communication will be done in Spanish and occasionally in English in the office
o In your native language for interaction with Partners
- like the Internet and can spend hours on it
- like responsibilities
- like to work in an office environment
- have a basic level of Spanish and English
- be creative, have a good eye
- like searching for interesting content
- like fast activities and like learning new things all the time

The company
Open House Spain, S.L. (the company) is a web-based accommodation provider, offering apartments, hotels, hostels and B&Bs in locations all over Europe. All services are provided in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Dutch.
The company was founded in 1997 and currently employs about 40 people. The team is very international and young-at-heart, with Spanish and English being the two official company languages. Our offices are located directly in the centre of Barcelona, just off Passeig de Gracia and easily accessible by public transport from anywhere in the city. The Marketing department is a diverse bunch, with different interests and personalities drawn together by the contagious allure of Barcelona.
