Olive Media products (www.olive.us), a leading
developer of digital audio solutions offers an
internship/graduation project in the field of
software/application development. Located in the
heart of San Francisco, we are an international
company looking for individuals that want to assist
our team in developing innovative applications for
our music server line based on the Linux operating
system. The brand (www.olive.us) is highly visible to
end-users and the project is therefore ideal for
reference purposes or graduation work.
The trainee will assist with the following projects:
> Development of an interface for an online
community to share music playlists,
recommendations, etc. > Development of a remote
control application for Olive music servers via a
Linux based handheld. Features that are in the
works are multi-room streaming and zone control,
metadata editing and more. > Development of a
Linux based robot solution to upload music CDs to
our music servers, including music library
management and presentation techniques.
Anforderungen
Candidate must possess theoretical and hands-on
experience with
> Unix/Linux systems. > C, C++, Objective-C >
Perl, HTML, shell scripting, and PHP > JavaScript
and Java programming experience a plus
Internship is full-time: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday thru
Friday. Payment is $500/month.
